For many years the play was considered an aristocratic game and only the upper class people could take part and a lower class people could get on a course just as Caddies, carrying the bag. But in the forties of last century, the trend began to change. It is a social game. It is considered as a sport as you practice both your body and mind. A clinical study made by Finnish researches on the contribution of golf to our health came out with the conclusion that "Regular walking had many positive effects on the health and fit of sedentary middle-aged men. Walking during a golf game is characterized by high adherence and low risk of injury and is therefore a good form of health-enhancing physical activity." Count on it is an attractive and discrete way to keep score.
