      Riding a motorcycle -
an energizing lifestyle

Riding a motorcycle, like any other extreme sports activities attracts people, usually men.

This phenomenon emerged in the Western world in recent decades, as people have more free time and greater desire to experience.

Motorcycles are mainly famous for facilitating mobilization in crowded areas or to save gas and maintenance expenses. They are considered relatively dangerous vehicles and common people will avoid using them for this reason.

According to a research titled "Motorcycling and Social Interaction", "The driving experience is central in motorcycling. A principal reason for being a part of the biker community derives from the appreciation in the strong tactile experience given by the roar and vibrations of the engine, as well as being exposed to wind and weather.

The bikers spend time on the road to experience the feeling of acceleration and the centrifugal force when taking turns. Accordingly bikers, for the single reason that it is fun to drive, can crowd winding roads far from well-populated areas."

Many mid agers that are looking for new excitements and increasing Adrenaline flow in their blood decide to use motorbikes as a part of their lifestyle for a daily practice, replacing their fancy cars with a two-wheel vehicle. They speak about addiction to the excitement, freedom, mobility and speed and less about dangers. It gives them the feeling of keeping young. All senses are on alert.

The phenomenon is also prevalent among businessmen. Some of them don't ride the motorcycle as an act of being a macho or to avoid traffic jams or parking problems. When arriving to business meetings or conferences, riding their motorcycle, the reactions they get is as if they are adventuresome or Sports-Extremists and quite often a few eyebrows are raised.

Most of those that choose this kind of lifestyle say that while riding they are off all daily bothersome thoughts and on the other hand very are very highly concentrated, connect with themselves and sometimes even make their  best decisions.

Other mid lifers join motorcyclists clubs. The Club scene is booming. It does not matter if the club associates with a specific brand (and such are quite common) or more nonaligned clubs and group. Motorcycle clubs and groups vary a great deal in their objectives and type of organizations.

They may also initiate or sponsor journeys where members can socialize and get to know each other. These gangs share common interests and their world revolves around motorcycle and its nurturing. They also share a common folklore and lifestyle and will always be ready always support and aid their colleagues.

Off road trips, cross the country, coast-to-coast, weekends trips or for your vacation, you can find all kind of them either doing it yourself, join your spouse or with a group. No doubt it can be an unforgettable experience. Get ready!

Motorbikes exist for over 100 years and started with a first prototype that was presented in Germany back at the end of the 19th century and has been dramatically evolved since.

Among dozens of motorcycle models one brand has been standing out for years: Harley Davidson. It all started in 1903, when the three Davidson brothers - who lived in a remote town in Milwaukee - joined William Harley and created the first prototype. It was actually kind of bike with a 116 cc engine, barely survived the city's' hills slopes.

The next model was the 405 cc presented and in 1907 the V2 configuration, with engine capacity of 880 cc. was launched and still in service. It's really all about it: Harley's basic structure remains much the same ever since. Like any good brand, Harley just riding on the success of the building itself with the eternal structure and the eternal crowd.
